`Sources/NotchShot/Support/NotchPanel.swift` adapts Notchi's borderless nonactivating floating panel and space behavior. `NotchGeometry.swift` adapts the public display and safe-area geometry from `NSScreen+Notch.swift`. The files were modified on 2026-09-15 for NotchShot.

Notchi's private bezel-path lookup, agent hooks, usage reporting, network clients, mascot assets, and updater are not included. The new capture engine and preview/export interface are built for this app.

NotchShot is an independent personal utility. It is not an OpenAI product and does not contain copied Codex implementation code or branding assets.

## Capture shutter recording

`Sources/NotchShot/Resources/CaptureShutter.wav` is adapted from “DSLR shutter sound (Fujifilm x-t3)” by **boredomfounder**, published on Freesound on July 9, 2025. The uploader identifies the camera as a Fujifilm X-T3 and says the recording was made on an iPhone 12.
